My design journey began with self-driven learning

I developed taste and design skills crafting web and brand identities for various startups. Now, I am a software designer studying interactive media, focused on creating software that people love to use.

I am currently obsessed with interaction design, and I pour most of my energy into guiltlessly experimenting with different easing curves and bounces in an effort to make an interaction feel like magic.

If there is anything I have realised in my design career so far, it’s this: the best work happens only when ideas are refined and built with others who care just as much. I am looking to join a team that pushes for quality and has a lot of fun when building software  :)

I specialise in

User experience design
I dig deep to understand why users want what they want. That’s how I design experiences they love.
Interaction design
I love a subtle micro-interaction. Is it necessary? Probably not. Does it elevate a product experience? Absolutely yes.
Web design & development
I build websites that are clean and that does the job. Flashy isn’t my thing unless it serves a purpose.
Product strategy
A good product strategy takes care of the user and the business. As a product designer, I can help you balance the two.
Brand identity
A well done brand design makes you say 'Wow!' without trying too hard, and that's my style too. Simple yet memorable.

Values I believe in

Quality matters
Prioritising quality is my way of showing respect to my work. It's what drives me to constantly level up.
Collaborate strategically
I like to work with people who share my vision. And I love to work with people who follow through with their work.
Be accountable
As Simon Sinek said, we can only take credit for our good work as long as we take responsibility for our mistakes.

I go back to these words every now and then

You often feel tired, not because you've done too much, but because you've done too little of what sparks a light in you.
Alexander Den Heijer
Solitude is where it should all begin. You first have to spend time with yourself, with your own thoughts, to bring anything of value to the table with a team.
Tobias van Schneider
The most regretful people on earth are those who felt the call to creative work, who felt their own creative power and uprising, and gave to it neither power nor time.
Mary Oliver
The whole culture is telling you to hurry, while the art tells you to take your time. Always listen to the art.
Junot Diaz
Do not try to create and analyse at the same time. They're different processes.
Corita Kent
If you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what's next.
Steve Jobs
It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows.
Epictetus
In order to make delicious food, you must eat delicious food. You need to develop a palate capable of discerning good and bad. If your sense of taste is lower than that of customers, how will you impress them?
Jiro Ono
Stop asking people for directions to places they've never been.
Glennon Doyle
If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.
